2026-27 Stride & Ride Combo departs Colville 9am

• Shuttle Departs Colville at 9am.  Please be onsite by 8.45am.
• Arrive Fletcher Bay at 10.30am.  
• Start a three kilometre coastal walk over a large scale sheep and beef farm with spectacular rural and seaviews.  
• Approx 11.30am we cross over to the Muriwai Walk with its stunning cliff top scenery from the Hauraki Gulf to the Pacific Ocean.
• We regroup at Port Jackson, enjoy some lunch, perhaps a swim and then start the bike ride back to Colville.  
• Enjoy a 30 kilometre ride over a quiet gravel road, often acclaimed as one of the best rides in New Zealand.  With towering pohutukawa trees overhead and the Hauraki Gulf lapping at the road edge, its a return ride to savour.
• Arrive back at your vehicle in Colville at your leisure.
• The van is never far away on the bike leg should you have any problems.
• Hire one of our electric touring bikes or electric step thrus or standard mountainbikes or BYO.
• Some gravel road riding experience is necessary along with medium fitness levels.
• The bikes ride comes complete with panniers, helmets, hi vis vests and directions. 
• This is a full day activity with return time anywhere from 3pm to 5pm.

Colville departs from our homestead at 76 Wharf Road, Colville at 9.00 am  (check-in 15 mins prior).  You return to your vehicle at your own pace by around 5pm.  Safe off street parking is available behind the house.

Sturdy walking shoes, sunhat, sunscreen, warm layer, rain jacket, swimming togs, towel, camera, insect repellent plus lunch to enjoy on the hike as well as any snacks and water.
