Coromandel Coastal Walkway Hiking Shuttle departs Colville 9am Returns 5pm

The ONEWAY walk is back and we are delighted to share the Walkway with you again.

The Coromandel Coastal Walkway is located in a remote corner of New Zealand, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. With a variety of scenery from native bush, craggy cliffs, seaviews and coastal farmland, there’s something to behold around every corner.

The Walkway travels a well worn bridle path that can be enjoyed by young and old alike with medium levels of fitness. This is a self-guided hike of ten kilometres and takes approximately 3-4 hours.

Our full day experience also includes a shuttle to the drop-off point at Fletcher Bay with pickup form Stony Bay around 3pm.

Due to the remote location, it takes approx 1.5 hours from Colville to reach the start point of the Walkway. Our roads are narrow, gravelly and winding so extra care and attention is needed for a safe journey. Some rental car companies also forbid their vehicles to be driven on these roads.

Colville Departure ONEWAY Option i.e. dropoff Fletcher Bay 10.30am, pickup Stony Bay 3.00pm Adults 2x minimum $250pp Children 0-15 years $225pp.  Groups 5-11 $225 pp.   You are welcome to pay in full or a $50 deposit to secure your seat.  Otherwise contact us via email or phone for a manual booking. 

The Walkway may at times be closed for maintenance and we reserve the right to alter the route on these occasions.

Departs from 76 Wharf Road, Colville at 9.00 a.m. (checkin 10 mins prior) returns approx 5.00 p.m.  Safe off street parking is available. 

Sturdy walking shoes, sunhat, sunscreen, warm layer, rain jacket, swimming togs, towel, camera, insect repellent plus lunch to enjoy on the hike as well as any snacks and water. We have complimentary water top-ups available in the van.
